GENERAL INFORMATION

 October 2009

Queen Elizabeth Annex is a dual-track K-3 school. We currently offered both English (grades 1-3) and French Immersion (K-Gr 3).  The English programis being gradually phased out over the next 3 years.

Begining September 2009, we will be hosting the Jules Quesnel K-Gr2 students and staff (approximately 140 students) on our school site for the duration of the JQ Seismic Renovation project, expected to last from 12-24 months. 

Both programs “recognize that children are individuals and every child is unique.  The programs accommodate the broad range of children's needs, their learning rates and styles, and their knowledge, experiences and interests to facilitate continuous learning.  They achieve this through an integrated curriculum incorporating a variety of instructional models, strategies, and resources."

Queen Elizabeth Annex welcomes the active involvement of parents in the life of the school.  Children's progress is significantly influenced by your participation in the education process.

Our goal always is to focus on offering our students programs that nurture a love of learning and a sense of curiosity.
